A healthy way to kick off your Fourth of July Festivities! La Palma’s Fitness Run for Fun is more than just another run: it’s an opportunity to experience that small town/hometown sense of community; to share quality time with your family, neighbors, and friends; and to focus on health and wellness while participating in a quality running, walking, or strolling experience.

Corona del Mar State Beach is a popular place for swimmers. The half-mile long sandy beach is framed by cliffs and a rock jetty that forms the east entrance to Newport Harbor. The beach is also popular with surfers and divers.
In salute of Veterans Day, La Palma Days will feature a parade, live entertainment, children’s activities, food, and several vendors. Over 200 entries will parade down Walker Street from Houston to La Palma Avenue. They include junior and senior high school bands, celebrities, elected officials, dignitaries, veterans, the fire department, JROTC units, military entries, businesses, local schools, clubs and organizations, and more.
The festival will also have a line up of cultural entertainment at the Pavilion Stage. Children can enjoy free balloon animals, face painting, rides, and several other activities.
